The harness built around a dachshund — not shrunk down from a big-dog pattern. It's cut for the long back and deep chest, so it sits snug without gaping or sliding, and the soft neoprene lining spreads the pull across the chest and off the neck.

Measure with a soft tape while your dog is standing, snug but not tight. Once it is on, two fingers should slide flat under any strap. Between two sizes? Size up.
