Sizing & Fit

How do I find the right size for my dachshund?

Measure your dog's chest girth (the widest part of the rib cage, just behind the front legs) and neck circumference, with your dog standing. Then check the product page: sizing is not the same across every product — some pieces are sized by neck, others by chest girth, and each product page lists the measurement it is sized by. Our Size Guide has the full charts, and a size guide opens right next to the size buttons on every product page.

What if the size doesn't fit?

Swap it, free. Reach out within 30 days of delivery and we'll email you a prepaid return label at no charge — size and colour exchanges cost you nothing. Your new size ships as soon as your return is received and processed. Want to skip the swap entirely? Send us your dog's measurements before you order and we'll recommend the right size.

Do you stock gear for both miniature and standard dachshunds?

Yes. The size range we stock covers miniature dachshund puppies through large standard dachshunds. Check the Size Guide for the full breakdown.

Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — standard shipping is free on US orders over $45. US orders under $45 ship for a flat $6.99. International shipping costs vary by destination and are calculated at checkout. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Tiny Weenies ships within the United States and internationally. Enter your shipping address at checkout to see the delivery options currently available for your country or region — the checkout is the definitive list of where we can ship today.

International delivery times can vary by destination and carrier, and customs processing may add additional time.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days. US delivery generally takes 5–12 business days after shipping depending on the fulfillment partner. International delivery varies by location, carrier and customs clearance.

Will I be charged duties or taxes?

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes or customs fees charged by the destination country. Unless those charges are collected during checkout, they are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

30 days from delivery, on unused items in original condition. Exchanges and store credit are free — we send a prepaid label at no charge. If you'd rather have a cash refund, a flat $6 handling fee covers the return label, and that fee is waived if the fault is ours. See our Returns & Exchanges page for full details.

How do I start a return or swap?

Contact us with your order number and we'll take care of the rest.

Are your harnesses safe for dachshunds with IVDD?

Our harnesses spread the pull across the chest rather than pulling against the neck. We aren't able to make medical claims — always consult your vet for a dog with an existing spinal condition.

Are your products machine washable?

Most products are machine washable on a gentle, cold cycle. Check the individual product page for specific care instructions.

What materials are the products made from?

The gear we stock uses dog-safe materials throughout — no harsh dyes, no rough edges. Products come from the overseas manufacturers we source from. We review the sizing and listed materials before adding anything to the range.

My dog is between sizes — which one do I pick?

Send us both measurements — chest and neck — and we'll call it for you rather than guessing. And if the first one is wrong, you have 30 days to swap sizes free — we send the prepaid label, no fee.

Is a harness really better for their back?

For a long-backed breed, absolutely. Clipping the leash to the chest keeps pressure off the neck and spine, where doxies are most vulnerable.

How do I measure my dachshund?

Wrap a soft tape around the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs. That single number tells you the size to order — match it to the chart on our Size Guide.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Skip the dryer and the hardware and stitching will stay like new.

How fast do you ship?

Do you really donate to rescue?

Not yet — giving back is a goal we're actively working toward. There's no donation program running today, and when one launches we'll say so on our about page.
