Most vets suggest limiting how often a dachshund jumps down from furniture. The drop from a sofa is one of the more repeated impacts in their day, and one of the easier ones to design out.

We stock foam steps: low, deep treads sized for short legs, a non-slip base that stays put on hardwood, and a removable washable cover. Three, four, or five steps — pick by the height of the thing your dog is climbing. Ramps are not in stock yet.
